  Which characters can be used for Domain Name ?
 

You have lot more flexibility in creating Domain Name

You can use :

  • Letters
  • Numbers
  • Hyphens (Not appear at the beginning or end of the domain name)

Using any combination of the above, you can have up to 63 characters in your domain name, including the extension (e.g., .com , .net, .org).

You can't Use

  • Spaces
  • Special characters, e.g.  @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ? "

Characters that are never permitted in a domain name include.
